Basic Hedgehog Set Up
Getting a hedgehog is a very exciting time and it's important to ensure you have done your 'homework' to ensure they are a suitable pet for you and that you can give them the right care and best life.
If you are just starting your research, then this is just a quick list of what you will need to consider and provide for your hedgehog:
- Enclosure - a vivarium or cage (min 3ft long, not smaller)
- Substrate - fleece liners or Finacard (no wood shavings)
- Heat source - heat lamp or heat mat
- Wheel
- House/bed
- Tunnel
- Toys
- Food and water bowls
